It has been an unforgettable November for everyone at Limelight. On the 4th we were privileged to be part of President -elect Obama's victory celebration in Grant Park.

November 6 was the opening of Oak Street’s luxe new Paul Stuart Store.

November 7th we celebrated University of Chicago’s renamed Booth School of Business with 900 attendees in the magnificent setting of Lincoln Park Zoo

carouselNovember 8 we noted our 7th year with St. James Parish Jubilation at the Sanfilippo Estate Carousel Building in Barrington Hills

runway November  20th we  catered to Chicago’s hip-est crowd at the opening of the Michael Kors store at 900 N. Michigan both events sponsored by CS Magazine .

The following night the Grand Opening of Salon 1800's expansive new digs at 1113 W.Armitage

Grilled Corn & Pepper Relish
Yield 2 Cups

  • 2 medium sized Red Peppers, roasted and diced
  • 2 ears corn, grilled & sliced off the cobb
  • 3 Tablespoons minced red onion
  • 1 Tablespoon minced fresh garlic
  • 3 Tablespoon chopped Cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon minced Chipotle pepper
  • salt & pepper , to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime rind

Mix ingredients together and serve atop leftover turkey
