New Corporate Name
Five years ago we launched our new corporate name, Limelight...food illuminated. After fifteen years as Rita's Catering the changes proved to be a great success. We introduced the new name at press events, moved into our Lincoln Park facility, doubled our business in the first year and took on new business. Times have been very good for us. Our mission to keeping a fresh approach to business and in tune with our clientele is paramount to our success. So, like so many companies facing challenges these days we have decided to change our name again. Our new corporate name Sloof Lirpa reflects back to a time when business was done on a hand shake or over a cup of coffee with people who care about providing essential services for neighboring businesses.
We hope you our friends and business family will embrace our new name with all the enthusiasm you have shown over the years.

New Revenue Source Born After serving our delicious organic corn puree at a recent dinner party we stumbled upon what we think is a revolutionary innovation. While in its fresh form it has a creamy texture, once refrigerated it takes on a thick and gummy texture. When left to air dry it becomes quite solid and almost impenetrable.
Chefs at Limelight realized a new revenue source was born. For the last few months we have been working closely with Chicago's Streets and Sanitation Department to perfect this organic, low cost option for road resurfacing and pothole repair. First tested in our kitchens and then at the corner of Clybourn and Racine the results are dramatic. " We knew immediately we were on to something" said a spokesperson for the Department of Streets and Sanitation " We are grateful to the forward thinking chefs at Limelight for this low cost, organic product that was born out of reuse and recycling practices at this innovative company." In the last few days of testing there have been dramatic results. “Drivers roll down their windows to thank us instead of yellin’ at us to get out the way" said one resurfacer. Limelight is proud to be part of our city's title as Greenest City in America. |

Transport Vehicles
We have been working long and hard to develop a green, cost efficient transport system. Today we will roll out our new transport vehicles on the city streets to do what we can to lower our carbon footprint, carbon emission and make our business as fuel efficient as possible. Delivery vehicles and event trucks will have the company logo and signage wherever we can find room and possibly on the drivers helmet.
